Moji is a modern commerce platform designed to connect customers with trusted vendors while creating a more engaging and rewarding shopping experience. The platform combines product discovery, vendor storefronts, loyalty rewards, and community-driven engagement into a single ecosystem.

Traditional online shopping experiences often focus solely on transactions, leaving little room for engagement, retention, or meaningful vendor-customer relationships. Vendors also face challenges managing products, tracking performance, and growing their businesses through a centralized platform.

Moji was created to address these challenges by building an ecosystem that supports both sides of the marketplace. Customers gain access to a more engaging shopping experience, while vendors receive the tools needed to manage and grow their businesses efficiently.


Problem

Design Approach

The design process involved researching e-commerce behaviors, marketplace interactions, and user expectations around online shopping experiences. User journeys were mapped across both customer and vendor experiences to identify opportunities for simplification and engagement.

Challenges

One of the primary challenges was balancing the needs of two different user groups customers and vendors within a single ecosystem. The experience needed to remain intuitive while supporting a wide range of marketplace activities, from product discovery and checkout to business management and analytics. Another challenge involved creating engagement mechanisms that encouraged retention without introducing unnecessary complexity into the shopping experience.


Outcome

The final product delivered a scalable marketplace ecosystem that supports both commerce and engagement. By combining product discovery, rewards, vendor management, and community-driven features, Moji provides a more holistic shopping experience while equipping vendors with the tools needed to operate and grow their businesses effectively.
